Attendee & Vendor Terms

Attendees

By purchasing a ticket you agree to the following terms:

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • In the unlikely event that we need to rearrange the event due to circumstances beyond our control, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the next event.
  • Entry will be granted with a valid ticket. A confirmation will be emailed to you after purchase and will serve as your ticket, please check your spam folder if you don’t see the confirmation email immediately after purchase. Please keep your ticket safe. Children under the age of 10 enter for free with a paying adult and do not require a ticket.
  • You do not need to print your tickets as we can scan them from the link in your email.

Vendors

Payments & Fees

  1. Payment is required within 2 weeks of the invoice being issued. Failure to do so will result in the booking being cancelled and you may be excluded from exhibiting at future events.
  2. Musical Theatre Market is not responsible for stallholder parking or parking fines.

Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

  1. In the case of cancellation, the stallholder must inform the organiser.
  2. All bookings are final. The stall fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other events.
  3. However, if a stall booking is cancelled within reasonable notice, the organiser will endeavour to sell the pitch on to a new stallholder to recoup the money. In this case, any refunds or credit granted are done so at the discretion of the organiser. The organiser has the right to deduct any associated costs incurred and admin fees from a refund or credit.
  4. In the unlikely event that we need to reschedule the event your stall will automatically be transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date you may be offered a refund.
  5. A record of all stall cancellations and no-shows is kept. No-shows will count against you in future applications. No refunds will be given.
  6. In the event of a venue cancellation, we are unable to refund or transfer stalls but will try and seek costs from the responsible party.
  7. Musical Theatre Market has the right to cancel your stall at any time and for any reason. This will only be done in exceptional circumstances.
  8. Musical Theatre Market shall be under no liability for delay or failure to provide the services because of any act or circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to, Act of God, legislation, injury, terrorism, war, fire, failure of power supply, bad weather conditions, lock out or strike.

Safety, Insurance & Certificates

  1. Musical Theatre Market bears no liability for loss, damage, or theft of items during the event.
  2. Stallholders are responsible for their own property and safety at our events.
  3. Public and product liability insurance to cover your stall and stock is required.
  4. Stallholders and stock are not covered under the organiser’s insurance policy.
  5. Stallholders selling food and drink must provide copies of their food hygiene certificate, risk assessment and public liability insurance.
  6. If you are a food distributor at our events you must agree to always display allergy information as clearly as possible and direct your customers according to these allergies and ingredients. If failed to do so sufficiently you are responsible for any effects or reactions your product has caused and may be liable. Musical Theatre Market are in no way responsible for any insufficient labelling of produce or the creation and distribution of these products.
  7. Electricity is not guaranteed with a stall and is at the discretion of the organiser and venue. Any electrical equipment allowed must be PAT tested, safe and wires taped down.
  8. In the interest of health and safety, walkways and fire exits must be always kept clear during the event. Stock and fittings will be removed from your pitch if you have not left enough room for walkways.

Set-up and Set-down

  1. Stallholders must arrive no later than one hour before the event opens or you will forfeit your stall.
  2. Stallholders must not set up without being shown their allocated space.
  3. Stallholders must not pack up or prepare to leave before the closing time of the event.
  4. Stallholders who try to leave early or who contravene health and safety for our customers by moving stock and fittings before packing up time will not be permitted to trade with us again. Stallholders are not allowed to use loading exits before the closing time and may be reported for risking customer safety. Anyone doing so may be prosecuted for endangering members of the public and other traders.
  5. No one is to enter the building before the specified set up time. No stallholders should remain after the exit time.
  6. Early arrivals or late leavers who incur any additional hire fees will be billed for these charges.
  7. Stallholders should be careful not to damage venues whilst loading or setting up. This includes sticking anything to walls. Any damage caused to venues will be billed to the responsible parties.
  8. Pitch spaces must be left exactly as found. All rubbish and waste must be placed in bins and not left on the floor.

On the Day

  1. Items for sale at this event must as detailed in the application form. Stallholders may not bring different items unless having received permission from the organiser.
  2. It is the stallholders’ responsibility to ensure they have all the relevant information/stallholder guide about the day.
  3. Positioning is strictly down to the organizer.
  4. All floor plans are subject to change at the request of the organiser. Anyone who does not cooperate with changes may be asked to leave the event without refund.

Health & Safety
