I’m Amelia, and for the past four (and a bit!) years, I’ve been selling embroidery kits, pieces and patterns inspired by musical theatre and pop culture. I’ve been lucky enough to see my pieces sold in the West End and displayed in dressing rooms (Aimee Lou Wood, Carrie Hope Fletcher and Samantha Barks to name a few!!), as well as being one of the first small businesses to exhibit at MusicalCon. Fellow Stagey’s, I work backstage in the West End and I love making scrunchies. These perfectly imperfect scrunchies are made using fabrics I have picked up along the way from different West End shows and are all hand sewn. There may be some visible stitching, but this is live theatre after all! Materials come and go so you will never see the same fabric, once they are gone they are gone. From old costumes to set fabrics I can make a scrunchie from it.
